About A.R.R.I.S.E

A.R.R.I.S.E. is a mental health therapy practice built around six guiding principles that inform the work I do.

Affirm the experiences of every client as uniquely their own; deserving of personalized care and attention. Renew client perspectives to allow space for the possibility of more. Respect client's diverse and intersecting identities, and the cultural context from which they came. Inspire client connection with themselves and the world around them. Support clients through change in any form it may take. Evolve through this practice with the knowledge that learning, healing, and growth are not linear; they are lifelong pursuits.

Meet the Founder

My name is Arionna Scott and I am the Black, queer, neurodivergent therapist behind A.R.R.I.S.E. Therapy. I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Spanish at Missouri State University in 2011, then my Master of Arts in Counseling & Guidance at the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2014.

I relocated to Seattle, Washington in 2018 and now consider it my home. I enjoy connecting with loved ones, spending time outdoors, art in various forms, reading, travel, and new experiences.

Background

In session, I connect through curiosity and work to find the balance between structure and fluidity. I am trained in various evidence-based modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

I am passionate about working with folks who hold historically marginalized identities as they navigate the challenges of living in a world that was not built for them. Folks experiencing: anxious thoughts, burnout, depressed mood, executive dysfunction, interpersonal conflict, LGBTQIA+ concerns, sociocultural issues and much more will find a safe and supportive space; where they can process, explore, and progress towards their unique goals.
